Yes, Seven-Card is a variety that also comes with varieties. In this context, there are lots to mention but then the most popular and just worth mentioning so far, is Razz. In our previous articles, we’ve already mentioned and even discussed important things about Seven-Card Stud Hi Lo which is of tantamount level of popularity nonetheless.

Well generally, Razz is a great, unique variety. It is not like many others, it can only have one winner and surprisingly not for the high side of the pot but for the low side of the pot.

Razz can be played be several players and it makes use of ante for possible start of action. Of course, the players in for the game are to put own ante. Then, there are also three cards to be dealt first to every player. One out of the three cards must be dealt face up and two must be dealt face down. The one card is the door card.

With Razz, action normally begins after the first bet is placed and it is by the player with highest door card. Other players should follow. The bets should just be equal to half of the low bet.

Naturally, there should be betting rounds. In these betting rounds, players can make a bet, raise and the likes. They must take place in between dealing of card/s.

All in all, there must be four cards dealt face up and three cards dealt down. Each of the card should pave the way for action to just continue until game is done. Players should be able to make a bet, raise and the likes.

With Razz, there is also showdown, the phase where in remaining players are obliged to reveal their hand so to determine the winner who has the best low hand.
