Securing Shuffle
Poker players need to secure the shuffle so they will not be cheated eventually. They need to actually protect the shuffle, protect it from any interference from those who have a plan to cheat.
Well, the dealer will be the one to do the shuffling, the dealer will be the one to shuffle the cards. But then to be really sure that those who have a plan to cheat will not be able to carry out their cheating scheme, players can ask the one to the left of the dealer to scramble the cards before the dealer shuffles them and after have the other one to the right of the dealer cut the cards. By doing these, those who have a plan to cheat will just find it hard to do so.
The cheating scheme of those who want to cheat centers on the cards and so players can spoil it by working on the cards. Players can actually have the cards be scrambled by the left of the dealer before the dealer shuffles them and then have them cut by the one to the right of the dealer.
And of course, after the shuffle, players can then make sure that the deck will be kept on the table during the dealing of the cards. It is helpful that everyone sees what is going on during the dealing. Those who have a plan to cheat will just find it hard to cheat when from shuffling to dealing, everything is just secured.
It is best to stop cheating before it even begins. Make sure the shuffle will be secured. And poker players can actually make sure it will be by having someone scramble the cards before the dealer do the shuffling and then have another to do the cutting of the cards.
