Playing Loosely in High-Ante Games

PokerPoker players should play loosely if in high-ante games. And yes, if in low-ante games, they should play tightly.

Poker players should consider the size of the ante when playing. If large, then they should be loose. If small, they should be tight.

For an instance they are in a high-ante game, it will not help if they play tightly. In a high-ante game, if they fold that often, they will lose their money just in antes. They become a too predictable player. When they play a hand, everyone else will just fold. Thus, they should not play tightly if in a high-ante game. They should play loosely.

Playing loosely means playing a hand that often is thrown away. Poker players should play a hand that they actually do not often play.

And similarly, poker players should play just right in high-ante games, they should not actually slow play. If they slow play, they will just allow their opponents to come in so cheaply. They should raise with playable hands if only they can.

They should not play loosely just because they feel like playing loosely or they should not play tightly because they feel like playing tightly.
