Knowing More About Implied Odds
Some poker players can’t tell the difference between implied odds and pot odds. And some poker players can overestimate the implied odds. Some poker players can just miscalculate the implied odds. Well, most of the poker books released have not actually discussed a lot about the said odds. Thus, some just need to know more about the odds to be able to tell the difference between implied odds and pot odds, some to not overestimate the implied odds and to not miscalculate the odds.
Some poker players just have to know that implied odds are different from the pot odds. Implied odds actually give players idea what amount of money they can win when making a certain hand, what kind of betting to probably occur in a hand and even what action to make in the future. While the pot odds are just about what possibly to happen at the current time, nothing more.
Then some poker players just need to know that implied odds must not be overestimated. They are actually the total amount of money one can win divided by the total amount of money placed into the pot.
And just the same goes with the issue on miscalculation of the implied odds. Some poker players have to know that implied odds must not be miscalculated.
The poker players failed to know everything about the implied odds. They have most likely checked out some poker books but then have not taught them everything they need to know about the said odds. But of course, just not too late for the players. They are still into poker and they can still work on things involving the implied odds, the odds that can just help them become successful in their poker games. Just not too late for them as far as knowing everything about implied odds is concerned.
