Even in Seven-Card Stud, only the right starting hands must be played. Of course, these are starting hands that just worth playing.

Such hands actually include medium suited connectors, big suited connectors, big suited semi connectors, medium pairs, big pairs, and rolled-up trips (three of a kind). They are indeed the hands that must be played in a variety such as Seven-Card Stud. However they must be played with good approach or strategy.

Basically, the medium suited connectors must be down to ten. Same as the big suited connectors, they must be down to ten. The big suited semi connectors can be As-Qs. The medium pairs can be TT-88. The big pairs can be AA-JJ, they can be really playable particularly if hidden but can just be misleading when played. And the rolled-up trips (three of a kind) must begin with aces.

The hands mentioned are truly hands to play in Seven-Card Stud. They are indeed great starting hands. However in some instances they just can’t be effective. Nonetheless, there is still risk to consider. Thus, it is still important to play them with caution.

It helps to consider things like odds and probabilities, position, and table condition. Doing so can lessen the risk of the hands being not effective or ineffective. It is ideal to play the hands when the odds and probabilities are reasonable or would allow them to win and same as when the position and table condition are, otherwise it can be risky to play them.

The hands are indeed worth playing in Seven-Card Stud. It is just that, some things can just be incontrollable and may just turn one good possibility into a bad one. It is really a good idea to play them with caution.
